WiFi Information

Please use the WiFi network ISD75-Event. The public WiFi is not accessible throughout the building. Password is Cyc!0n35-2019. This QR code can be used to connect to the WiFi network as well on your Apple or Android device.

Registration

We look forward to welcoming you to St. Clair on March 8th!

Students may enter in multiple categories. Students are responsible for making sure they make it to each event on time.

By 7:30am on the day of the meet, please drop any students on SpeechWire (if able) and then check in with Doug and AJ on the day of the meet via text message. You can easily text them by tapping on this link (if the link doesn’t work, his phone number is below). Please include the name of your school and let us know if there are any changes to your entries that we need to process.

Discussion Info

Tasks will be handed out by the judge at the beginning of each round.

Tasks will come from Sections III and IV of the 2024–25 Discussion Outline. Specific topics and subpoints will be announced in the week prior to the tournament.

Judges Info

A Judges & Coaches Lounge will be available. A meeting for all judges will take place at 8:30am in the judges’ lounge (D125). All judges must be present for the meeting.

Concessions for judges will be available in the judges’ lounge.

Electronic balloting will be used for this meet. Please use SpeechWire Live to access your ballots for each round. Judges must bring their own device to use in order to fill out ballots. Paper ballots will NOT be issued for any judges.

Rankings should be submitted no later than five minutes after each round ends.

Draw Info

The draw room is located in the Media Center. A meeting for all competitors in draw categories will take place at 8:20am. Please be present.

Draws will be done electronically. Competitors should have a device to use in order to complete their draws.

Competitors are responsible for reporting promptly to their scheduled draw time. We recommend arriving in the draw room 15 minutes before your scheduled draw time.

As your draw time nears, please make sure you are logged into your account on SpeechWire Live.

Competitors will have a clean draw for every round, including finals.

Awards

An awards ceremony will be held in the large gymnasium after the conclusion of the final round. Our goal is to start this ceremony by 3:15pm. Please head to the gym after the final round so that everyone is ready when the awards ceremony starts.

Concessions

Concessions will be available for purchase in the Commons area.

Teams may use the commons and the gymnasiums as gathering spaces.
